Ok I'm saying it again, another knockout by Ellie Meade!! Maneater is not your typical love story...the female character doesn't take any s*** and calls it as she sees it. While ivy is strong and independent she also has a soft side. I couldn't wait for the next crazy thing she would say or do. I gotta say I loved not reading about another love sick 18 yr old. Nope ivy is brass, class and gets a whole lot of ass!!! Plenty of times while reading I had to look around and make sure no one else could see my kindle... Five stars Ellie Meade... A complete full circle entertaining read. Well written with a smooth easy to follow word flow. Grammatical and content editing nicely done.
Spicy HOTT storyline. I loved the plot!
Never have I had such a hate love relationship with a female character. The attitudes fly in every direction. I felt like a emotional mess. One minute I was ready to slap then I would be wanting to hug. Even though I was so mad I could bite nails, I needed to know more. I was attached whether it was good or bad.
AWE!!! I should warn of your next BBF. He is waiting. So very enticing and desirable. How he handles his alpha self is swoon worthy.
Don't forget major make some sweat " fun" . I'm talking fan and ice moments.

It’s well worth the sleepless night to stay up and devour this book. A highly-arousing smoking red hot read.

That’s the first line of the book. Immediately, you will dig yourself under the covers, blankets, etc.; turn your ringer off and post a Do Not Disturb warning on all your social media accounts. Man-eater is not for the faint at heart! And the sexual predator is FeMale!
I just read the ultimate girl power romance book. Yes, her tactics may be extreme. They may even be offensive. However, Ivy throws a one-two punch between the eyes, takes no prisoners and makes no apologies. You must dislike her!
I did! I thought she was abrasive and a terror with no conscience. She drew a very thin line between conceit and confidence.
Under all that fire, Ivy is suffering from a broken heart. Immediately you cast the sympathy card in her honor. Then she meets Greyson.
He immediately tries to break the holy grail of Ivy Hardt! He has an uphill battle that will leave you with a metaphorically bruise here or there, but he makes it a mission to tame this shecat!
Every page of this book was a treat to read. It’s filled with love-hate characters and a kick-a** storyline. Plus, the sex scenes are so descriptive and exact it’s like watching an adult movie. Oops, am I allowed to say that? Ssh don’t tell anyone.
Ivy Hardt is everything that’s wrong with the world. She’s a needlessly mean, cold-hearted, brash, shallow piece of work and one of the most wholly unlikeable characters I have ever had the displeasure of reading about. She’s the CEO of a magazine and treats everyone around her like she’s doing them a favour by talking to them like them they’re absolute dirt. She treats men like her personal toys and I don’t even think she understands the concept of friendship or loyalty and I spent a lot of my time with my mouth hanging open and saying “Oh no, she didn’t just do that.”
And all I have to say about this book is Well played, Ellie Meade, well played.
How did I end up crying over a character I completely despised? I guess you’ll have to read it yourself to find out. I’m not going to tell you much of what happens in this story, it’s best to uncover the layers yourself. I can say that it has some of the best and most creative sex scenes I’ve read in a while. Greyson was a tatted up, dirty talking, dominant, stubborn, romantic, sexy as sin piece of ass I wanted to lick all over.
The story is filled with twists, surprises, hot sexy times and a whole lot of WTF-just-happened moments and you will lap up every single moment of this. You will love to hate Ivy and like me, you will probably end up crying with her at the end. And even though this is a romance, this is also a story about a woman fighting for every inch of her life and finally learning that sometimes, it’s OK to let people in.
Like a hard as nails, sassy heroine who doesn’t take s*** lying down? Get this book.
Love characters that are flawed and not all goodness and rainbows? Get this book
Love a strong hero that won’t take no for an answer? Get this book.
Love a bit of dirty talk? Get this book.
Are you bored with regular old sex on a bed? GET. THIS. BOOK.

I'm a big fan of Ellie Meade after reading her Grace series, after reading Maneater I want more!!! This book is fantastic from beginning to end!!! Love, love, love all the characters! Can't wait to see what else Ellie has in store for us!!!
Wasn't getting the vibe the first chapter, but then it all fell into place!!! Absolutely loved it after that!! A MUST READ !! You will enjoy it !!
